Daniel Weissberg

Daniel Weissberg was born in 1954 in Basel, Switzerland. He studied piano (Klaus Linder), composition (Jacques Wildberger), and electronic music (David C. Johnson) in Basel.

Further studies in the class for New Music Theatre with Mauricio Kagel in Cologne, Germany. His oeuvre includes solo and chamber music, music for orchestra, radio plays, electronic music, and sound installations. He also publishes texts on music and media theory.

Co-founder and co-director of the Sound Arts Department at the Hochschule der Künste Bern.
