2nd Baku Contemporary Music Days
Program 2024

Film
“A Trail on the Water“
"A Trail on the Water" is a film about the connections between three leading musicians: the composer Luigi Nono, the pianist Maurizio Pollini and the conductor Claudio Abbado. Interviews, quotes, excerpts from dress rehearsals and fascinating shots of Nono's hometown Venice throughout the film paint a touching portrait of the friendship between these three artists, a friendship that has had a clear impact on the world of music today.
