Yulia Migunova

Yulia Migunova was born in Nizhny Novgorod, where in 2009 she graduated from the Conservatory in the cello class (teacher P. D. Vishnevsky).

As a member of the string quartet "Cantando" is a laureate of numerous international competitions and festivals in Russia, Germany, France, Greece, and Serbia. In 2011, the quartet won the First All-Russian Music Competition in Moscow. Since 2011, he has been actively engaged in performing contemporary music. Active participant in contemporary music festivals such as SPOR (Denmark), Karussell (Germany), Casa del quartetto (Italy), NeoArte (Poland), reMusik.org (St. Petersburg, Russia), “Other Space", “Moscow Forum", “Moscow Autumn", “Gallery of Current Music" (all – Moscow) and many others. She actively collaborates with soloists and composers from different countries, she has many world and Russian premieres to her credit.

Since 2016, she has been a member of the ensemble "Gallery of Contemporary Music" (GAM), the Moscow Ensemble of Contemporary Music, and the string quartet "Vacuum".

In 2021 – an employee of the Center for Electroacoustic Music of the Moscow Conservatory, and Director of the ensemble "CEAM artists".
